Dog parks in Favrskov Municipality (Favrskov Kommune)

Favrskov Municipality lies centrally in East Jutland between Aarhus, Randers and Viborg, in a green landscape of woods, farmland and river valleys. Gudenåen (the Gudenå river) and the many small lakes bring water and life to the landscape, and the gentle hills around Hammel and Hadsten are made for long walks. It is easy to get out into nature with your dog, wherever you live in the municipality.

The municipality has several woodland dog areas and fenced dog parks spread across its towns, several with woodland floor, shade and room to play. Hammel hundeskov and Hadbjerg hundeskov, both fenced, are among the nearby options, and Hundensgaard Hundeskov is a private fenced area with agility and a puppy area. Together they offer something for active dogs and for those that need training from scratch.

Outside the dog parks, the river valleys and lakes offer varied nature walks all year. At the quiet bathing lakes your dog can cool off on a hot day, as long as you keep it under control and consider other visitors. The woods around Gudenåen also give shelter and shade, so you can enjoy the walk in all weathers.

The dog parks in Favrskov Kommune are in postcodes 8370 Hadsten, 8382 Hinnerup and 8450 Hammel.
