Dog parks in and near Brønderslev

Brønderslev lies in the middle of Vendsyssel, between the Kattegat to the east and the Danish North Sea coast to the west. The town is surrounded by woods, hills and the large Dronninglund Storskov some way to the east. Nature is close by, and good dog walks are never far away.

In and around Brønderslev you will find several woodland dog areas and fenced dog parks within reach. Dronninglund Naturpark, which is fenced, and Sømosen Hundeskov in Dronninglund Storskov offer big woodland experiences, and several places have a puppy area for the youngest. The terrain is hilly and suits long walks.

Brønderslev lies inland, but the coasts of North Jutland are not far away. If you fancy a trip to the sea, you can reach the beaches of both Jammerbugt and the Kattegat in a short time. On the official dog beaches your dog may swim and run off-lead all year, while on ordinary beaches dogs must be on a lead from 1 April to 30 September, after which your dog may run off-lead from 1 October to 31 March.
