Dog parks in and near Tranbjerg J

Tranbjerg lies south of Aarhus in a green suburban landscape with woodland, fields and small lakes close by. The city and its natural areas are just around the corner, and woodland paths are a short walk away in several directions. This makes everyday dog walks both easy and varied.

In and around Tranbjerg you will find a handful of woodland dog areas and fenced dog parks with room to run and play. Anebjerg Hundeskov, which is fenced, is nearby, and to the north you will find Havreballe Skov, among others. Several places offer woodland floor and shade, and there are fenced areas where your dog can safely be let off-lead.

Tranbjerg is inland, and it is the woods and the nearby lakes that draw you out. On a warm day your dog can cool off in the water where this is allowed, while in the woods it must be kept under control. The areas can be used all year round, with shade in summer and shelter in winter.
