Albøge Hundepark (privat)

Albøge Hundepark is a private, fully fenced dog park in the open East Jutland countryside at Askhøjvej 64 in Trustrup near Grenaa on Djursland. The park works as a closed retreat on the rent-a-dog-park concept: you book the area exclusively for you and your dog. This makes it especially suitable for dogs that need peace and quiet around them, young dogs in recall training, or owners who simply want undisturbed play without unexpected encounters with other dogs. Remember: no access without booking and paying in advance. The area itself consists of open grass and natural paths surrounded by fields, where your dog can run off-lead, sniff and dig. To provide both physical and mental stimulation, the park has play equipment, balls and small obstacle courses. Fresh drinking water for your dog is always available during your visit. The park is open all year from sunrise to sunset, but must be booked online in advance via the website albøgehundepark.dk before your visit. A standard booking gives 45 minutes of exclusive access to the whole area, so there is always a 15-minute buffer between visitors at the gate and the car park. A single visit costs DKK 60 including one dog, and extra dogs can be added for DKK 30 each. You can also hire the park by the day for courses, dog training or special events by contacting the owners directly. There is free parking right at the entrance to the dog park on Askhøjvej in Norddjurs Municipality, which makes it easy and safe to take your dog straight from the car into the fenced area.
