Arnborg Hundeskov

Arnborg Hundeskov is a small, cosy, fenced dog park of around 1.3 hectares, just under two football pitches. It is in the village of Arnborg, about 14 km south of Herning and about 12 km north-west of Brande, just north of Jens Provsts Vej. The dog park is mixed woodland with beech and conifers and narrow paths where your dog can sniff and explore, and its size makes it easy to keep an eye on things. There is also an activity course with agility obstacles such as a tunnel and a balance beam, so you can fit in a little training. The ground stays fairly dry, even after rain. There is free parking on Jens Provsts Vej with direct access to the dog park. At the entrance there are lights you can switch on yourself, so the dog park can also be used after dark. There are tables, benches, a shelter and a bin, but no water point has been recorded, so bring water for your dog. The dog park is well used, especially in the afternoon, and there are often other dogs to play with. If you want more space, Bjerre Brunkulsleje (about 3.9 ha) is around 7 km away, and Harrild Hede Hundeskov (about 9 ha) is around 12 km away.
