Dog parks in and near Aulum

Aulum lies in Central and West Jutland between Herning and Holstebro, surrounded by plantations, heath and open landscapes. The area is rich in woodland and plantations, and nature is a short distance from town. That opens up wide possibilities for long dog walks in fresh air.

In and around Aulum there is a large choice of woodland dog parks and fenced dog parks, with the plantations in particular standing out with large, continuous areas of woodland. Hundeskoven Kobbelhøje ved Hornet and Løvbakkerne Hundeskov, which is fenced, offer woodland floor, shade and long paths, while a private dog park gives you a fenced alternative. A few places also have agility and puppy-friendly areas.

Aulum is far from the coast, so here the woods and plantations take centre stage. The large plantations around the town give shelter and shade all year round and plenty of room for your dog to stretch its legs on long walks. The terrain of woodland and heath is varied and ideal for active dogs.
