Skårmose hundeskov

Skårmose Hundeskov covers just under 5 hectares, which is 50,000 m2 or a little more than 7 football pitches. The dog park lies east of Ulfborg and south-west of Holstebro, and the area is fenced woodland where dogs may run off-lead under their owner's control. Facilities include a public car park with direct access to the dog park and the wider path network. The plantation also has a shelter site with a barbecue area and benches, and wild camping is allowed throughout the area. The landscape is a mix of conifers, oak scrub and historic burial mounds.
