Dog parks in and near Ulfborg

Ulfborg lies in the West Jutland countryside between plantations, heath and Nissum Fjord, not far from the Danish North Sea coast. The landscape is open and wide, with conifer woods and heather a short distance away. It makes an airy and peaceful setting for long dog walks.

In and near Ulfborg you will find several dog parks where your dog can run among pine and spruce on soft woodland paths. Østre Plantage and Sørvad Hundeskov are in the area, with both shade and plenty of space. The plantation trees give shelter from the westerly wind, so walks work on windy days too.

Although the North Sea lies to the west, it is above all the woods and plantations that give your dog room to roam here. On the marked paths you can walk for hours sheltered among the trees all year round. Remember to keep your dog under control so the other wildlife in the plantation is left in peace.
