Dog parks in and near Spjald

Spjald lies in the heathland of Central and West Jutland, surrounded by plantations, river valleys and open fields. The nature is quiet and wide, with conifer forest and heather a short way off. That gives calm, airy surroundings for long dog walks.

In and near Spjald you will find several dog parks where your dog can run among pine and spruce on soft forest paths. Spjald Hundeskov is right nearby, and a little further out are Videbæk Hundeskov and Snogdal Hundeskov, among others. The plantation trees give shade and shelter, and there is plenty of room for your dog to really get going.

Spjald is inland, and the forest and heath dominate. In the plantations you can walk for hours along marked paths, with shelter even on windy days. Remember that your dog must be under control so the other wildlife in the forest is left in peace.
