Holdflod Hundeskov

Holdflod Hundeskov is a private dog park (for hire) on Herningvej in Nøvling near Vildbjerg. No entry before payment and booking. The site offers four separate, fully fenced wooded areas. The concept is based on private booking, so you have your chosen wood entirely to yourself for calm training or play. The areas vary in size: Juletræsplantagen is 4 hectares, Fredskoven and Højskoven are 2.5 hectares each, and Trekanten is 0.5 hectares. All are surrounded by a 140 cm high wide-mesh wire fence, with the bottom 50 cm extra secured with fine-mesh netting. The woods are mainly used with an annual card, which gives access to the online booking system. In 2026 the annual card costs DKK 1,320 for 1-3 dogs, DKK 1,800 for 4-7 dogs and DKK 2,000 for 8-10 dogs per household. For a single visit you can buy a guest card for DKK 65 per dog. You can have two active bookings at a time in each of the four woods, so up to eight reservations at once. As soon as a booked slot is over, it is freed up and you can book a new one straight away. Entry to the woods is via code locks, and the codes are changed regularly. So keep up to date with the latest news and current codes via the site's Facebook group. There are parking spaces and picnic tables by all areas. In Juletræsplantagen there are tree trunks for balance work, and in spring 2026 obstacles will also be set up in Trekanten. Fresh water can be drawn at the farm building. Guests must bring their own poo bags and help keep the paths clean using the bins by the gates. All use is at your own risk, and dogs digging holes is not tolerated.
