Dog parks in Gribskov Municipality (Gribskov Kommune)

Gribskov Municipality stretches from the Kattegat coast in the north down to the large woodland around Gribskov and Esrum Sø. Here you will find long sandy beaches, rolling hills and some of North Zealand's most beautiful forests. The mix of coast and deep forest makes the municipality a dream for long dog walks.

The dog parks in Gribskov Municipality are spread from Gilleleje to Smidstrup. You can walk in woodland such as Høbjerg Hegn and on open Gilbjerg Hoved with views over the sea, or visit Esrumlund Hundeskov closer to Esrum Sø. The places offer shade, forest floor and plenty of room, so your dog can explore at its own pace.

At Smidstrup Strand there is a dog beach where dogs can swim and run off-lead all year. On the municipality's other beaches dogs must be on a lead from 1 April to 30 September and may only run off-lead from 1 October to 31 March, always under control. If you want to swim together in summer, the official dog beach is the right choice.

The dog parks in Gribskov Kommune are in postcodes 3200 Helsinge, 3230 Græsted and 3250 Gilleleje.
