About Gilbjerg Hoved

The protected area of Gilbjerg Hoved has become a dog area. It is not actually a wood. It is a large meadow where dogs may run freely, and they are also allowed on the area along the coast, where narrow paths make for an exciting walk right along a steep slope down to the beach. Note that cattle graze the area in the summer half of the year. In the winter half, from 1 November to 1 March, there are no cows on the area. There is a large car park by the meadow just before Jørgensvej when coming from Gilleleje.

Et virkelig godt sted at være sammen med sin hund. Om eftermiddagen (efter kl 15) kommer der en del nysgerrige, energiske og glade hunde, som gerne vil løbe og lege med andre.

Man må IKKE længere have hunden uden snor på Gilbjergstien, og selvfølgelig heller ikke på stranden i sommerhalvåret fra 1. april til 1. oktober.
