Horneby Sand

A 32-hectare coastal forest on the western side of Hornbæk, designated as a dog wood (hundeskov). Walking along the beach with your dog off-lead and under control is allowed from 1 October to 31 March. The dog park faces Nordre Strandvej between Tredie and Sjette Tangvej, not far from Kildekrog and Horneby Sand Station. The area also covers the dunes from Tredie Tangvej to A R Friis Vej. There is a large car park along Tredie Tangvej with its entrance opposite Nordre Strandvej no. 427, and another large car park where Øresundsvej and Havnevej meet.
