Dog parks in and near Humlebæk

Humlebæk lies on the Øresund on the coast of North Zealand, where the view across the water to Sweden meets lush woods and the artists' Louisiana landscape. The town is surrounded by woodland, coast and open meadows, and it is never far to the water's edge or the edge of the woods. That gives dogs a varied range of experiences right outside the door.

In and near Humlebæk you will find dog parks with both deciduous woodland and coastal nature. Egebæksvang Skov (not fenced) stretches all the way down to the Øresund and offers shady paths with sea views, while Kelleris Hegn and Hundeskov i Krogerup skovene (both not fenced) offer quiet woodland with plenty of room to roam. Several places have varied terrain and good routes where your dog can sniff and run under control.

Near Humlebæk there is access to an official dog beach, where your dog may swim and run off-lead all year as long as you keep it under control. On the ordinary beaches along the Øresund, however, the lead rules apply: on a lead from 1 April to 30 September and off-lead only from 1 October to 31 March. With the coast and a dog beach so close, Humlebæk is a good place to combine a woodland walk with a dip.
