Munkegårds Hegn Hundeskov

Munkegårds Hegn is a deciduous wood close to town, north of Kvistgård, where your dog can run off-lead in the dog park. The forest floor is soil, there are paths and shade, and with a bit of luck you may see roe deer. The dog park covers 23 hectares, roughly the size of 32 football pitches. Please note that the dog park is not fenced and that there is wildlife in the woods. As in all other dog parks, your dog must therefore be under full control and come back when you call. You can park by driving into the woods from the corner of Oldenvej and Egeskovvej. There is no water tap, so bring water for your dog, and the area is not suitable for wheelchairs. Entry is free, and the woods are run by Naturstyrelsen Nordsjælland (the Danish Nature Agency).
