Dog parks in and near Kokkedal

Kokkedal lies in green North Zealand between Hørsholm and Fredensborg, close to old woods, lakes and the hilly Ice Age landscape. The area is rich in nature, so a woodland walk with your dog is never far away.

In and around Kokkedal you will find several dog parks within a short distance. Egebæksvang Skov (not fenced), running down towards the coast, offers broadleaved woodland and winding paths, while Rungsted Hegn and Hørsholm Slotshave (both not fenced) offer classic North Zealand woodland and parkland. A few places, such as Storemosen Hundeskov, let your dog run off-lead under control, and there is also room for a little agility training.

The woods around Kokkedal change beautifully with the seasons, from the pale green of spring to colourful autumn leaves, and offer shelter and shade whatever the weather. The hilly terrain gives good opportunities for long walks where both dog and owner get a proper outing. Several of the woods have both wide main tracks and smaller paths, so you can easily adapt the walk to how you feel that day.
