Trørød Hegn Hundeskov

Trørød Hegn Hundeskov near Vedbæk is a large woodland area of 44 hectares, a little over 60 football pitches. It covers the area north of Trørødvej in Trørød Skov, and there is parking in several places along Trørødvej. The dog park is not fenced. Your dog may be off-lead if you have it under full control: you must stay in close contact with it and be able to call it back, and it must not disturb other visitors, dogs or wildlife. Otherwise it must be on a lead. The wood is open to everyone, and many people feel uneasy around loose dogs. So call your dog to you when you meet others, including people with dogs on a lead, and ask before you let it go again. There is no tap, so bring water for your dog, and the area is not suitable for visitors with disabilities. Entry is free, and the wood is run by Naturstyrelsen Hovedstaden (the Danish Nature Agency).
