Dog parks in and near Charlottenlund

Charlottenlund lies north of Copenhagen (København) on Øresund, in one of the greenest neighbourhoods of the capital area. Palace parks, old woodland and the coast are all within walking distance. That gives you a wealth of options for beautiful walks with your dog.

In and around Charlottenlund you'll find several dog parks and fenced dog parks a short distance away. Jægersborg Dyrehave with Ordrup Krat offers extensive woodland with wildlife, and Charlottenlund Slotshave gives a calmer walk in green surroundings. There's plenty of room for both short rounds and longer woodland walks.

Charlottenlund faces the Øresund, and Charlottenlund Strand is an obvious destination on a nice day. On ordinary beaches your dog must be on a lead from 1 April to 30 September and may only run off-lead from 1 October to 31 March, always under control. Only on the official dog beaches may your dog swim and run off-lead all year.
