Cottageparken Hundeskov - Jægersborg Dyrehave

Cottageparken in Jægersborg Dyrehave near Klampenborg is an area (not fenced) of 11 hectares, about 15 football pitches, where your dog may be off-lead if you have full control of it. Full control means that you can call your dog back to you and that it does not disturb other visitors, other dogs or the wildlife. The area is open to everyone using the woods, so call your dog back when you meet others, including people with dogs on a lead. Dogs that cannot meet this standard must be kept on a lead. There is a short circular route where your dog can meet other dogs. There is no water tap, so bring water. You will find tables about 200 m away and a toilet about 350 m away, where you can get water. The place is not suitable for wheelchair users. You can park at Den Røde Cottage and along Strandvejen and Taarbæk Strandvej. Access is free, and the area is run by Naturstyrelsen (the Danish Nature Agency).
