Dog parks in and near Kongens Lyngby

Kongens Lyngby lies north of Copenhagen by Mølleåen and the large lakes Furesø and Lyngby Sø, surrounded by some of the finest woods in the Copenhagen area. With water and woodland side by side, it offers a superb setting for dog walks close to town.

In and around Kongens Lyngby you'll find several woodland dog areas and dog parks within a short distance. Geelsskov Hundeskov (not fenced) offers real woodland, while Bøndernes Hegn by Aldershvile Skov and Sorgenfri Slotspark offer a varied landscape of park and woodland.

In several places your dog can run off-lead under control in the woods, and the wide tracks make walking easy whatever the season.

The lakes and Mølleåen wind through the area, and in several places your dog can take a dip at the water's edge - but watch the signs, as the rules vary and your dog must be under control.

The woods along the water are just as appealing in winter as in summer, with shelter among the trees. There is plenty of room for both short rounds and longer expeditions along the many paths.
