Nørrebroparken

In the northern part of Nørrebroparken there is a fenced dog park with newly planted apple trees. At 0.23 hectares, it is one of the larger dog parks in Nørrebro, and it is usually busy - when you visit, there are almost always other dogs there. The trees make a real difference in the middle of the city. They screen the park from the busy streets around it and give shade in summer, and the dog park is one of the greener breathing spaces in the neighbourhood. The ground is grass, but worn in patches, as happens in a place with many dogs every day on limited space. Expect muddy paws after rain. There is a water point and benches, and access is suitable for wheelchair users. It is free, and the dog park is run by Copenhagen Municipality. It is 2 km to Copenhagen city centre and to Frederiksberg, and 3 km to Brønshøj.
