Dog parks in and near Dragør

Dragør lies at the far end of Amager facing Øresund, with its old skipper town, the harbour and open coastal landscape. To the west, Kalvebod Fælled and Kongelunden stretch out with meadows and woodland. This mix of coast and nature makes Dragør a lovely place to walk your dog.

In and around Dragør you will find several dog parks and fenced areas within reach. Kongelunden Hundeskov (Rosenlunden) offers woodland and shade, while the fenced Kalvebod hundehegn gives you a large area out on the common. Several places have plenty of space, and a few have a puppy area for the youngest dogs.

Dragør lies right on Øresund, and there are several dog beaches on Sydamager (southern Amager). On ordinary beaches your dog must be on a lead from 1 April to 30 September and may only run off-lead from 1 October to 31 March, always under control. Only on the official dog beaches may your dog swim and run off-lead all year round.
