Travbaneparken Fritløbsområde

Travbaneparken in Kastrup on Amager has a 1.4-hectare off-leash area, almost the size of two football pitches. The nearest entrance is opposite Astridsvej. The dog park is not fenced. The park was laid out where Amager Travbane trotting track stood from 1922 to 1976, hence the name. Besides the off-leash area, the park has two hills used for sledging in winter. There is no water tap, bench or bin in the off-leash area, so bring water and take your bags home. If you come by car, you can park on Astridsvej or at Travbanehallen. Check the current parking rules. Access is free, and the area is run by Tårnby Municipality.
