Dog parks in and near Kruså

Kruså lies in the far south on the Danish-German border, close to Flensburg Fjord and the large plantations of Southern Jutland. The hilly border landscape of woods, fjord and hills makes a beautiful setting for long walks with your dog.

In and around Kruså you will find several woodland dog areas and fenced dog parks within a short distance. Frøslev Plantage (not fenced) offers mile upon mile of conifer forest and broad trails, while Kollund Naturunivers by the fjord has woodland right down to the water. In several places there is plenty of room to run under control, and a few fenced areas are designed with puppies and nervous dogs in mind.

Flensburg Fjord is just around the corner, and there is an official dog beach where your dog may swim and run off-lead all year, under control. On ordinary beaches, however, your dog must be on a lead from 1 April to 30 September and may only run off-lead from 1 October to 31 March.
