Dog parks in and near Toftlund

Toftlund lies in the middle of Southern Jutland in a quiet landscape of plantations, woods and rolling heath. Large state forests such as Lindet Skov are close by, and to the west the Wadden Sea (Vadehavet) and Rømø are within reach. The town is a good base for both woodland and coastal walks with your dog.

In and around Toftlund you will find several dog parks where your dog can run among tall trees on soft woodland paths. Lindet Skov and Stensbæk Plantage are among the larger ones in the area, with both shade and plenty of space. Several of the plantations have waymarked paths and shelter, so walks work in all weathers.

To the west, the Wadden Sea and Rømø's wide beaches are within reach. On the dog beach at Lakolk your dog may swim and run off-lead all year, while on ordinary beaches it must be on a lead from 1 April to 30 September and may only run off-lead from 1 October to 31 March, always under control. Between dunes and sea there are big skies and lots of space.
