Abkær Hundeleg og Agility is a lovely, welcoming space made for man's best friend. The fenced dog park is split into two separate fenced areas: the small one covers about 900 square metres and the large one a full 2,900 square metres. You can book the areas through the online booking system in slots of either 60 or 120 minutes. When you book, you have your chosen area all to yourself, which gives you the best possible conditions for calm training or undisturbed play, without worrying about unexpected meetings with other dogs. There is lighting, so you can also visit after sunset and during the dark winter months. It costs 50 DKK per dog to use the areas. If you come often, a punch card with five visits for 200 DKK is good value, and for regular, loyal users there is an annual card for 1,000 DKK, which gives free access for all the dogs in your household for a whole year. You do not need to be a member to book - all dogs and their owners are welcome. If you have questions, for example about MobilePay payment or booking, you can always message the owners directly. The area is very well laid out, with a strong focus on comfort for both dogs and owners. There is fresh water for thirsty dogs, and picnic tables are set up around the areas, where you are more than welcome to sit down and enjoy food you have brought along. Although the site is ideal for private play, it also has a real sense of community. Abkær Hundeleg regularly organises group activities focused on socialisation, environmental training and fun dog play. These events are posted two to three times a week on their social media and are usually divided by the dogs' age and size, so everyone has a safe and good experience.
