Dog parks in and near Roskilde

Roskilde lies at the head of Roskilde Fjord, surrounded by woods, ravines and hilly land sloping down to the water. Being close to both the fjord and large woodland areas such as Boserup makes the town an obvious choice for varied dog walks. Here you can switch between quiet woodland paths and long stretches along the water.

Roskilde is close to the coast, and along Roskilde Fjord there are quiet beaches and good walks by the water, including from Boserup Skov. On ordinary beaches, dogs must be on a lead from 1 April to 30 September and may only run off-lead from 1 October to 31 March, always under control. Only on official dog beaches may your dog swim and run off-lead all year round.
