Hedeland Hundepark (Hedehusene Hundeskov)

In Hedeland Naturpark you will find Hedeland Hundepark - also known locally as Hedehusene Hundeskov - in an easy-to-reach spot near Brandhøjvej. Although the place is often called a fenced dog wood (hundeskov), the open area in practice works as a spacious dog park. It is a very popular destination, visited every day by many dogs and their owners who want to let their four-legged friends get their pulse up in a safe setting. The area stands out for being easy to access, as the dog park is laid out to be fully suitable for people with limited mobility. This makes it easy for everyone to take their dog along. Inside the fence there are very good facilities for both two- and four-legged visitors. There are table and bench sets where you can take a well-earned rest, and a big plus is that there is fresh water for the dogs when they need a drink after a good play. There are also rubbish bins, so it is easy to get rid of your dog bags and keep the area tidy. If you come by car, there is good, convenient parking right at the entrance in the car park on Brandhøjvej. Although the park is fully fenced and dogs may run free, you must always have full control of your dog and always show consideration for the other visitors inside the fence.
