Store Lyngby Skov Hundehave

The dog garden in Store Lyngby Skov is a fenced dog park west of Hillerød and just south of Arresø. It covers 1.3 hectares, just under two football pitches, and there is a car park close to the entrance. The dog garden is a good start or finish to a walk in Store Lyngby Skov, where you can choose from various circular routes. Inside the fence your dog can run off-lead while you sit at the picnic table with benches. There is a rubbish bin, but no water point and no toilet, so bring water for your dog. The dog garden is open day and night all year round. Access is free, and the area is run by Naturstyrelsen Nordsjælland (the Danish Nature Agency).
