Dog parks in and near Lynge

Lynge lies in green North Zealand with woods, lakes and open fields close by. The area around Allerød is rich in old woodland and small lakes, giving you plenty of varied routes for the daily dog walk.

In and around Lynge there is a string of woodland dog areas and fenced dog areas within a reasonable distance. Several of them are fenced, so your dog can run off-lead in a safe setting, while the large woods give shade and room for long walks. Head, for example, to Uggeløse Skov or Tokkekøb Hegn (not fenced), which are among the largest and most varied natural areas around.

Lynge is an inland town, and nature here is about woods and lakes rather than coast. At the fenced Skenkelsø Sø Hundeskov you can combine forest floor and water, and on hot days the tall trees give welcome shade. Keep an eye on local signs, as lead rules can vary from wood to wood.
