Dog parks in and near Farum

Farum lies in North Zealand surrounded by woods and lakes, with Farum Sø and Furesøen as blue neighbours and large woodland areas all around. Green nature is right outside the door, and the mix of lake, woodland and open country makes the town one of the best places in the Greater Copenhagen area to walk your dog.

In and around Farum you will find a wide choice of woodland dog areas and fenced dog parks with woods, shade and plenty of space. Ravnsholt Skov and Tokkekøb Hegn are among the large, popular woods where your dog can go on long walks under tall trees, and Bistrup Hegn Hundeskov is also within reach.

Several of the woods are extensive, so there is room for both sniffing walks and speed across the field.

Farum is an inland town, but the lakes around it let your dog cool off by the water on a hot day. At Farum Sø and the surrounding woods, water and trees lie close together, but remember that in many places your dog must be on a lead and always kept under control for the sake of the birdlife and wildlife. Otherwise it is the large woods that carry the daily walks.
