Gørløse Skov Hundehegn

In Gørløse Skov between Slangerup and Hillerød, Naturstyrelsen (the Danish Nature Agency) has put up a fenced dog area where your dog may run off-lead. It covers 2.8 hectares, just under four football pitches. The forest is newly planted, so the trees are still young, and a path has been mown in the grass all the way round. A lap does not take long, so the place is best for a shorter walk where your dog can stretch its legs. Off the path it quickly gets wet after rain, so wear wellies. There is a small car park by the fence facing Kurreholmvej. There is no water tap, toilet, benches or rubbish bin, so bring water and take your bags home. Please note that, according to Naturstyrelsen, the fence is only temporary while the forest grows up. Entry is free, and the area is run by Naturstyrelsen.
