Tønballe Hundeskov

Tønballe Hundeskov is a 9 ha dog park in a partly felled Christmas tree plantation. A huge number of paths and grass everywhere. Even after weeks of rain, dogs don't get muddy in this wood. Tønballe Hundeskov is on Tønballevej, south of Snaptun and east of Horsens. Tønballe dog park is fenced on one side, along the road. On the other 3 sides there is an apple orchard, woodland and sea, plus the gravel road leading down to the car park. Good parking with 10-12 spaces on the way to Tønballegård. This is a brilliant wood that we warmly recommend. You can also take a really good walk in the woods nearby, for example to see the old cannons at Svenskeskansen or the tall new bird-watching tower.
