Hundeskov i Benløseskoven

The dog park in Benløseskoven near Ringsted is a small, fenced part of Benløseskoven (1.5 hectares, equal to 3 football pitches). It isn't very big, but it has both a wooded area and an open wildflower meadow. There are tables/benches, and parking is easy right by the entrance. It has been reported that the fence has large mesh, so small dogs can run through, and that one gate is poor, so small dogs can also get under it. The fence is also only about 1.2 metres high, so large dogs can easily jump over. - The gates have been improved: extra mesh has been added at the bottom, so dogs can no longer get under them. There are many tree stumps in Benløseskoven.
