Bunken Klitplantage Hundeskov

In Bunken Klitplantage between Ålbæk and Skagen you will find 44 ha of woodland east of the main road and north of Bunken Camping that has been set aside as a dog park. The area is called "Døde Skov" (the Dead Forest). The dog park is not fenced. Skov- og Naturstyrelsen (the Danish Forest and Nature Agency) hopes that local residents of Hulsig, neighbours from Skagen and Ålbæk and, not least, tourists, especially at the area's two large campsites, will use the dog park in Bunken Klitplantage. Please note that the dog park does not extend onto the dunes and the beach. Please use the GPS coordinates to find the car park, as the addresses given are for the nearest house and do not show the correct location of the car park.
