Fæstningsværk Kagsmosen Fritløbsområde (Vestvolden)

At Fæstningsværk Kagsmosen on Vestvolden, north of Vindingevej, there is an off-leash area (not fenced) of about 4,200 m², a little over half a football pitch. Vestvolden is a long green area where it is easy to combine off-lead time with a good walk along the rampart. The fort is part of the historic fortifications. There is no water tap, bench or bin in the off-leash area, so bring your own water and bags. There are tables and benches about 150-200 m away, and you can park on Vindingevej, but check the parking rules that apply. Access is free, and the area is run by Copenhagen Municipality.
