Dog parks in Skive Municipality (Skive Kommune)

Skive Municipality borders the Limfjord, with the Salling peninsula, bays, inlets and a lush landscape of fields and plantations. The long fjord coast and the many woodland areas give dog owners plenty of chances to alternate between woodland walks and breezy walks along the water. Woods or fjord are rarely far away.

Skive Municipality has several dog parks spread across its towns, including Skive Plantage (fenced) close to the town and Hundeskoven i Rotary Skov. Hem and Durup also have their own dog parks. A few places have room for agility and play as well as a puppy-friendly fenced area where the youngest can start safely.

Along the Limfjord there are several beaches where you can combine a walk with a swim - but be aware of the rules: on ordinary beaches your dog must be on a lead from 1 April to 30 September and may only run off-lead from 1 October to 31 March, always under control. There is no official dog beach in the municipality, so keep your dog on a lead by the fjord in summer.

The dog parks in Skive Kommune are in postcodes 7800 Skive, 7840 Højslev and 7870 Roslev.
