Egebjerghaven Hundeløbegård

Egebjerghaven Hundeløbegård is a small, fenced off-leash area in the Egebjerghaven neighbourhood of Ballerup. The dog park covers a manageable 0.1 hectares (1,000 square metres), just under a seventh of a standard football pitch. The whole area is securely fenced with fixed gates, so the town's four-legged residents can get their heart rate up and play freely off-lead. As a bonus, this off-leash area has agility equipment, offering plenty of fun activity as well as physical and mental training. Even though the fenced area is a free space, you must always have full control of your dog and be able to call it back. This small dog park is a great local meeting place for the daily walk, when your dog just needs to run freely, try the obstacles and greet other dogs. Outside the fenced area and on the surrounding residential roads and paths in Ballerup Municipality, dogs must always be kept on a lead out of consideration for others.
