Hundige Hundestrand

Hundige Hundestrand is on Hundige Strand, running north-east from the pier, and here your dog can run off-lead and swim. Hundige Hundestrand has white sand and plenty of space, and there is a bathing jetty so your dog can go straight into the water. The beach is popular, so there are usually other dogs about, and there are bins along the beach. Parking is easy and free, with around 30 spaces. Do check the local rules, though. One thing to be aware of: the area is not fenced. The off-lead zone runs from the pier to the stretch opposite the car park, and the neighbouring stretch has a Blue Flag, where dogs are not allowed. So you need full control of your dog the whole way. There is no water point, so bring water. Access is free, and the beach is run by Strandparken. Ishøj is 2 km away, Greve 4 km and Albertslund 7 km.
