--------------------- This dog park has its own Facebook group called "Hundeskoven Lellinge". --------------------- There are 2 dog parks in Lellinge. The one described here is free and is on the corner of Skovhusvænget and Ringstedvej. The spot is also known as Yderholm P-plads. The dog park is the size of a large garden (about 1200 m2) and is fenced. There is good parking and a bin for droppings :-). Note that the dog park is not very big! Most people visit on Saturdays and Sundays between 11:00-12:00. There can be anything from 2 to 15 dogs at that time. It is not a good idea to let your dog in among lots of unfamiliar dogs if it has not been there before. Come a few times when the dog park is empty, so your dog has a good experience. Then you can slowly get your dog used to the other dogs. NEVER stay in the dog park with your dog on a lead. A dog on a lead becomes nervous and scared among off-lead dogs, which leads to squabbles between the dogs. Take the lead off before letting your dog in through the gate. Children are welcome with adults. But remember it is the dogs' playground, not the children's. Most dog owners you meet here know each other and the dogs. You are always welcome to ask if you are unsure about anything.
