Dog parks in Brønshøj

Brønshøj is in north-west Copenhagen, with Husum to the west, Bispebjerg to the east and Vanløse to the south. The district is shaped by Utterslev Mose, one of Copenhagen's largest nature areas with lakes, paths and birdlife, and by the garden suburbs around it.

In Brønshøj you will find two dog parks at Utterslev Mose. Utterslev Mose Hundegård is a fenced dog area that runs as a narrow strip along the south-eastern shore of Kirkemosen. At the south-eastern end of the garden suburb of Brønshøjholm is Utterslev Mose Fritløbsområde, an off-leash area (not fenced).

The bog itself is a good place for a longer walk, but outside the dog areas your dog must be on a lead.

If your dog needs a proper woodland dog park, Store Hareskov is to the north-west and Vestskoven ved Oxbjerget to the west.

On the official dog beaches, such as the off-leash area at Amager Strand, your dog may swim and run free all year round under control. On ordinary beaches it must be on a lead from 1 April to 30 September and may only run free from 1 October to 31 March.
