Dianalund Bypark

The dog park in Dianalund Bypark is a small, fenced dog park of about 1 hectare, just under one and a half football pitches. It lies in the eastern corner of the town park in Dianalund, about 11 km north-west of Sorø and about 16 km north-east of Slagelse. It may not be big, but there is plenty for your dog to explore. The terrain is varied, with small banks and slopes for dogs to play on, and paths wind between trees and shrubs. It is a good spot for a short visit, and at the right times there are often lots of dogs to play with. There are two gates: one to the west from the town park itself and one to the east, reached through a small patch of woodland from the waterworks. There is free parking at the waterworks and at Grønningen. Inside the dog park there is a shelter, benches and a water point, but no bin, so take your bags home. The dog park is not suitable for wheelchairs. The town park is worth combining with a walk on a lead. There is a lake with a path of about 1 km around it, and the park also has a nature playground, shelters with a fire pit and a sledging hill, so it is a good place to bring the whole family. If you want to try a bigger dog park, Høng Skov (about 7.7 ha) is around 13 km away, and Kastanielunden (about 2.3 ha) is around 13 km away.
