Frejas Hundeleg

Frejas Hundeleg is a private dog park (for hire) near Hjerm in Struer Municipality that you book for yourself. Once you have booked a time, you have the whole area to yourselves, so your dog can run, sniff and explore in peace. That makes it a good place for dogs that are happiest without other dogs around, for puppies and for training. The dog park covers about 2.8 hectares, a little over four football pitches. Paths lead round through the woods, and along the way there is a picnic bench, a shelter and Nissens hule (the elf's cave), which changes during the year between the Nisse, the Easter Bunny and the Forest Troll. The gates into the area must be kept closed, both when you arrive and when you leave. Besides the woods, there is a 400 m² hall (16 x 25 metres) with equipment for balance, body control, concentration and teamwork between dog and owner. The hall is booked separately and gives you a dry place to play and train when the weather is bad. You use the hall and the equipment at your own risk. Next to the dog park is a horse paddock with an extra fence, and the horizontal tubes and the rope are electrified. So keep well away from the fence, keep an eye on your dog if it gets curious, and do not feed the horses. There is plenty of parking at the entrance and a water tap by the car park - bring your own water bowl. Please park well away from the other cars and stay in the car with your dog until the previous guest has got their dog back into their car. That way the dogs do not meet in the car park. Dogs must be on a lead outside the dog park and the hall. A booking lasts 55 minutes and covers a maximum of 3 dogs per household. You pay in cash or with MobilePay on arrival, and times are booked in advance via Frejas Hundeleg's own website.
