In the north-eastern part of Hillerød you will find Tyvekrogen Hundeskov, which covers no less than 97 hectares, the equivalent of no less than 136 football pitches. Tyvekrogen Hundeskov is not fenced. It is bounded to the north and west by Fredensborgvej and Isterødvejen, and to the south by the railway line. You can park in the wood, with the entrance from Fredensborgvej just outside the Hillerød town sign. The entrance is not signposted.
