Byager Folkeskov Hundeskov

The dog park in Byager Folkeskov is a 1.4-hectare fenced area where dogs can run off-lead, roughly the size of 2 football pitches. It lies in young woodland in Beder and is part of Byager Folkeskov, known locally as Bymoseskoven, which was planted in 2018. The new woodland was planted over important groundwater reserves to actively protect and secure clean drinking water for the future. Byager Folkeskov Hundeskov offers scenic terrain with trees, a nearby stream and a small lake. As the whole area is a dog park, your dog may run off-lead and explore, provided you have full control of it. By the stream there is a large campfire shelter. It belongs to Aarhus Municipality and has indoor seating for about 30 people, making it good for a longer break under cover. Bring your own firewood, although you are always allowed to collect dry, fallen branches from the woodland floor if you want to use the fire pit.
