Kirkeskoven Hundeskov is in the town of Skjern itself. It is fenced and covers 3.3 hectares, roughly four and a half football pitches. The dog park has lots of trees, so your dog can run off-lead and sniff around the woodland floor inside the fence. Your dog must be under full control when off-lead. There are benches, but no tap, toilet or bin in the dog park, so bring water and take your bags home. A public toilet is about 300 m away and a pavilion about 250 m away. You can park at the end of Skovbrynet. Entry is free, and the area is run by Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality.
