Dog parks in and near Nørre Nebel

Nørre Nebel lies in West Jutland (Vestjylland) close to the Danish North Sea coast (Vesterhavet), where dune plantations, heath and the wide west coast shape the landscape. With dunes, plantation forest and sea within reach, there is wide-open nature for long dog walks.

In and around Nørre Nebel you will find several dog parks in the large dune plantations. The woods give shelter from the westerly wind, and there is plenty of room to stretch your legs. Try Blåbjerg Klitplantage near Lønne or Oksby Hundeskov near Blåvand, both within driving distance towards the coast.

The North Sea is just round the corner, but remember the rules. On ordinary beaches dogs must be on a lead from 1 April to 30 September and may only run off-lead from 1 October to 31 March, always under control. Only on an official dog beach may dogs swim and run off-lead all year - behind the dunes, the plantations offer shelter all year round.
