Hirtshals Hundepark

Hirtshals Hundepark is a fenced grassy dog park in Hirtshals where your dog can run freely. It covers approx. 5,800 m², a little over three quarters of a football pitch, and there is good parking by the area. The dog park is on an old, overgrown gravel pitch. It is a large, open area without much variety, so it is best for dogs that love space to run and for obedience training, because the area is fenced and easy to keep an eye on. There is a separate puppy area. There are benches and a rubbish bin, but no water point and no toilet, so bring water for your dog. There are several picnic tables in the dog park, and you can park on Bakkehøj. The dog park is open all year. Access is free, and it is run by Hjørring Municipality.
